Keynote Speaker: Bill Myers is a writer/producer whose work has won over 60 awards including the C.S. Lewis Honor Award. He writes for both children, McGEE AND ME, MY LIFE AS…, as well as adults, ELI and his latest, THE LAST FOOL. His books and videos have sold over 8 million copies. Myers will walk attendees through a careful look at how to discern God’s call in our lives and how to implement and celebrate it. Read his bio

Workshop Speakers:

Robin Lee Hatcher, bestselling author of over 70 books, is known for her heartwarming and emotionally charged stories of faith, courage, and love. Winner of the Christy, the RITA, the Carol, the Inspirational Reader’s Choice, and many other awards, Robin is also a recipient of the prestigious RWA Lifetime Achievement Award.  Hatcher will be teaching Romancing the Reader.

Jill Williamson is a chocolate loving, daydreaming, creator of kingdoms and the award-winning author of several young adult books including the Blood of Kings trilogy, Replication, the Mission League series, and the Safe Lands trilogy. Williamson will lead a track for students as well as authors interested in writing for young adults: How to Come Up with A Salable Story. Storyboarding the Hollywood Way. How to Turn Your First Draft into A Published Book. 

Donna Fletcher Crow, is the author of 43 books, including 3 mystery series: The Monastery Murder, The Lord Danvers Victorian true-crime series and The Elizabeth & Richard literary suspense series. Crow will lead the workshop, Taking the Mystery Out of Mystery Writing. 

Peter Leavell was the 2011 winner of Christian Writers Guild’s Operation First Novel contest, and 2013 Christian Retailing’s Best award for First-Time Author. He will lead a workshop on Agents and Proposals.

Lisa Phillips is a hybrid Christian Romantic Suspense author who sold her first manuscript to Harlequin Love Inspired editor Emily Rodmell through a Speed Date pitch of only 100 words. Double Agent will be released May 2014, followed by Star Witness in September. Her first self-published novel is called Bait. Phillips will lead the hands-on workshop, Crafting Your Pitch Paragraph.

Rebecca Carey Lyles, president of Idahope Writers, is a Boise author and editor. Her second novel, Winds of Freedom, is the sequel to the award-winning first book in the Kate Neilson series, Winds of Wyoming. Lyles, along with radio host and author,  Lisa Buffaloe, will speak on Demystifying Self-Publishing.

Janet Thompson is a best-selling, award-winning, freelance Christian author of 17 books, a speaker, editor, and the founder of Woman to Woman Mentoring and About His Work Ministries. Thompson will teach Creating a Platform and a Following.
