Free for Kindle -- The Other Daughter -- August 20-22!

FREE on Kindle Aug 20-22, Monday-Wed. The Other Daughter by Miralee Ferrell, contemporary women's fiction (Christian).

This is my debut novel, published in 2007. I've had 5 more books release since this one and have grown as a writer, but still love this story. I hope you'll consider downloading it free on Mon., Tues., or Wed., even if you've already read it. I'm hoping I get enough downloads to push it into the top 100 Free Kindle books. The only way that will happen is if people spread the word. I'd be so grateful if you'd post it to Facebook, Twitter or any groups you happen to belong to.  Thank you!     www.amzn.to/Nzu9yy

The Other Daughter is an endearing story about betrayal and forgiveness, stubbornness and submission, and the strength God shows when we ask him to work through us. Susanne Carson is a 'good person,' but she's missing so much while she tries to maintain control of her life and faltering marriage. It takes the arrival of a bedraggled teen on her doorstep to show her she's not in control; she's never been in control; and help is just one decision away. --Trish Perry

If anyone is willing to send out a tweet or post on FB, here’s a shortened URL to the book, along with the message to post.

Finding Hope in the Midst of Tragedy

Book Launch – Free Books on 8/8/12 – 8/9/12

Don’t miss out on this free Christian inspirational book! FREE on Wednesday 8/8/12 and Thursday 8/9/12 "Finding Hope in the Midst of Tragedy" by Shelley Hitz.

Not only will you be able to download Shelley’s book for free, but also three other Christian books during her special book launch.

About the Book “Finding Hope in the Midst of Tragedy”

Have you been through difficult times in your life? If so, you are not alone. Jesus says in John 16:33, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Notice that He doesn't say that we might have trouble or that if we have enough faith we will escape it. He clearly states that on this side of heaven we will walk through difficult times in our lives.

And yet we have reason to hope.

This book is Shelley’s own personal journey to finding hope after a tragedy hit her family. However, she did not want this book to be her story alone. Instead, she wants it to be a resource for you to find hope in the midst of your own difficulties. That is why she has added the sections that you will see through the book called, "From My Life to Yours," where she includes journaling prompts and reflection questions for you to apply what you are learning to your life. Her prayer is that God leads you to find His hope no matter what you are currently walking through.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

What reviewers are saying:

"must read for anyone who has had storms in their life.  I laughed, cried and got so excited. This book gave me the answers to many of my prayers and showed me the right way to forgive." - TALoveRocks

"This is a book of hope, trust, faith, forgiveness, and so much more!  Highly Recommended!"  - Sandra McLeod Humphrey

"Wow! My eyes are full of tears and my heart is full of God's promises to the author and to each of us.  Great book!"  - Kristie

Download your free copy and let your friends know about this special offer here on 8/8/12 and 8/9/12:  http://www.bodyandsoulpublishing.com/hope-for-the-hurting-christian-books-for-difficult-times/

Shelley Hitz is the author of the book, “Finding Hope in the Midst of Tragedy” which you can download for FREE on 8/8/12 and 8/9/12 here:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008RSQFJC.

Shelley’s main passion is to share God’s truth and the freedom in Christ she has found with others. She does this through her books, websites and speaking engagements.  You can find more about Shelley at www.ShelleyHitz.com or invite her to speak at your event here:  www.ChristianSpeakers.tv

A Perfect Fit

A Perfect Fit

Have you ever felt Jesus' message didn't apply to you? It's time to see God's Word is a perfect fit!

ONE SIZE FITS ALL: HOW TO WEAR GOD'S WORD takes a look at the parables Jesus told. Every day we explore a different parable by Picking It Up, Putting It On and Walking It Out. ONE SIZE FITS ALL is an eight week study with five days of work in each week.

In Pick It Up, we begin with the authority of Scripture. The passage or passages for the day are printed for the reader from the New International Version of the Bible.

To Put It On, Jennifer shares both personal anecdotes and Biblical stories to help the reader understand how the message applies to their lives. They are prompted to answer application questions, journal thoughts, and look up supporting Scripture to see how God's Word addresses their seasons of life.

Walk It Out is a directed time of prayer. We close the day by giving thanks and asking God for His guidance to live out His truth. The reader is also given the opportunity to write their own prayer or journal thoughts as well.

With the use of QR Code technology, you will be able to hear a message from Jennifer through your smart phone or reader without having to be near a DVD player. There is a new message each week. Don’t have a smart phone? No problem. The videos are available online.

Jennifer Mersberger is a Christian author, public speaker, and founder of Lamplight Ministry. Like many women, Jennifer spent a large portion of her life seeking love and approval. After surviving sexual assault and suffering the loss of an unborn child, she finally reached out to God. He won her heart and gave her a passion for encouraging women.

With a unique perspective and great sense of humor, Jennifer shares how God is present in our everyday lives. She lives in the north Texas area with her husband and two children.

What I Love About Writing

What I Love About Writing
by B.J. Robinson

What do I love about writing? Though there are many things, what I love the most is the opportunity it presents to reach out and help others. When you've written a story others can identify with, you have the opportunity to touch their lives, their hearts, and their souls. Writing also allows people to get to know each other. It allows you to really get to know yourself, because it becomes a process of self-discovery. In my case, it's helped me grow closer to God.
Through writing, I have met and shared stories with people from all over the United States, Canada, and many other places as can be seen by reviewing my blog stats. My family has learned more about me and who I really am as a person. I have even learned more about them. It allows me to share my heart and soul and my life with others. When I find out something I have written has touched another human being, or has helped them in some way, that is the greatest reward of all.  I may never be a famous author, but I am a published one, who knows the feeling, the joy, and the reward of receiving this gift from God.
Writing is what I do because it's a part of me, and I thank God for the gift, the ability, and the benefits it brings every day, not monetary benefits, but people benefits. It is my way of reaching out to others and sharing my life experiences with them. If I only wrote for the money, I wouldn’t be writing. I love the feeling of knowing that somewhere someone may pick up something I wrote and learn about the personal relationship I share with God. Perhaps, they, too, will find the missing link in their lives and come to share that same productive relationship. For me, that is what writing is all about, and it brings joy to my soul.
I want to write to bring joy, hope, peace, faith, love, and life to others. Many may never be reached through a Sunday sermon. Just as Jesus used the art of storytelling, writers may reach lost sheep by following His example. If I can help just one discover Jesus, I will have made a big difference with my writing for another human being. Though I want to entertain as all storytellers do, God gave me this gift, and I intend to use it for Him. Reading and writing are my passions. Jesus is my best friend.

Helping each other (Free book!)

Helping Each Other
by Patricia (PacJac) Carroll

I have had so much fun blogging, posting on Facebook and Twitter, emailing friends all for help.

As I write this Liberty Belle sits at #3 on the Kindle Top 100 Free list - amazing to me.

BUT I know that she would be somewhere in the dusty shelf of obscurity if not for all my friends on the Social Media. Those I know and those I don't.

Writing a book can be a lonely business. Marketing a book is a team effort. One I confess that I have been lacking in. You know the saying - pay it forward. Or one I like better - Treat others as you would want to be treated. As authors, I believe this can be what makes or breaks our careers.

How can we help each other?

1. When we read a book - write a review for Amazon, Goodreads, Nook. Or even on your blog

2. Twitter that you enjoyed the book and give the link to Amazon (or wherever the book may be)

3. Click like on the button near the Title on Amazon

4. Link up with others that are in your genre and help one another market.

5. Never talk bad about another's book. (you know the reaping and sowing thing)

These are just some of the things I have discovered today. I am sure I will find more as the week goes on.

Liberty Belle is free on Kindle -08-01 thru 08-05 2012 don't miss out.

Liberty loves good readers. : )  http://www.amazon.com/Liberty-Belle-ebook/dp/B0086WMFES
